As the energy consumption is a substantial factor amounting to 15% of the turnover, the energy policy of Agri Norcold A/S and Esbjerg Frysehus applies for the power and heat consumption of all the cold stores.

Over the past many years, there has been significant focus on especially the consumption of power in relation to freezing and frost storage which is now being systematised by the implementation of this energy management system.

It is the energy policy of Agri-Norcold and Esbjerg Frysehus continuously to optimise the energy consumption.

Agri-Norcold and Esbjerg Frysehus commit themselves to comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements within the energy area.

The energy management comprises the following branches: Esbjerg Frysehus I/S, og Agri-Norcold A/S, Hasselager, Hobro, Korsør, Mors, Padborg, Vejen and Vamdrup.
